A slew of Quebec female celebs will take on the catwalk in an ode to diverse body types for the 2nd Edition of the “Melow: saine et diversifiée” (Melow: Healthy and Diverse) Fashion Show.
Montreal, July 24th, 2012- On Wednesday, August 29th, the women’s clothing line Melow by Melissa Bolduc will present its second edition of “Melow: Saine et diversifiée”, with all the proceeds going to Anorexia and Bulimia Quebec (ANEB Quebec). “By having female Quebec media icons with various body shapes and sizes walking the catwalk, our wish is to prove to all women that clothing needs to adapt to our bodies, and not the other way around”, explains Melissa Bolduc, the designer and creative mind behind the Melow clothing line.
In addition to presenting Melow’s 2012 Fall-Winter collection, the following celeb personalities are proud to represent the beauty of every body type: Guylaine Tremblay, Bianca Gervais, Frédérique Dufort, Eve Lemieux, Amélie Grenier, Émilie Bibeau, Claudia Marques, Melissa Lavergne and Catherine Brunet, who’s also the spokesperson for ANEB Quebec. The evening will be hosted by Guylaine Guay and will begin at 7pm. We’re also thrilled that Rachel Blais, a Québécoise model, will present an excerpt of the controversial documentary “Girl Model”.
